1-888-947-2876 and enter our County Code (18).
3 - Follow the rules for the day, have tools and water, and make certain your fire is completely out before leaving.
"Burning any material, whether plastic, paper, or wood, produces a variety of hazardous and toxic air pollutants, including carcinogens such as arsenic, benzene, and formaldehyde. Children and others with asthma are especially at risk from smoke from burning garbage," said Jim Zellmer of the Department of Natural Resources wasted and materials management program. - April 2011 DNR Publication.
We ask that you please abide by the rules for burning trash. The smoke/fumes generated from what you burn affects not only you and your family, but all your surrounding neighbors. Thank you.
